RLG Architects, LLC is the architectural practice of Robert L. George, Jr., RA that was founded in the Washington Metropolitan area in 1995, as RLG Architects and Engineers. Prior to starting the firm, Mr. George served 19-years with a major engineering firm (Jackson & Tull, C.E.) in a management position the majority of his tenure. From June of 1995 until December of 1997, Mr. George served as the staff Architect for the Jericho City of Praise where he provide the design and construction oversight for the Jericho City of Praise facility. His primary expertise is in addressing the technical engineering and constructability issues of architectural design. He has performed design, construction management and inspection services for many projects in Prince George’s County and the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Robert L. George has over 28 years of professional experience in the field of Architecture, Design, Construction Administration, Construction Management and Independent/3rd Party Inspection services. The firm’s professional experience encompasses the programming and design of a broad range of architectural building types such as new church and church renovations, private single-family homes, multi-family housing, medical facility renovations, transit stations, postal facility renovations, gymnasiums and recreational facilities, commercial office buildings, and the design of vocational and educational training classrooms specific to church design and construction. Mr. George has a personal understanding of ministry as he serves on the ministry staff, Deacon’s Board and Praise Team ministry (to name a few) at his church, which is the Jericho City of Praise in Landover, Maryland where the undershepherd is Apostle Dr. Betty P. Peebles.
